I’ve [almost] completed my to-do list for the end of the month and I’m sat in The Table reflecting and gathering for the coming weeks.
There are day job things to do that are the usual flow of work, and the West Midlands Business Festival has kicked off this morning which is two whole weeks of focus and celebration in my sphere.
On the church job side, it’s Ash Wednesday and I’ll be playing our 7pm service again. Lent is such a good time to pause and prepare, and this year the Easter oratorio will be keeping me busy.
But for now, all I need to do is drink my very excellent coffee and prepare for the month ahead. As I observed in conversation not an hour ago, contentment is massively underrated.
